Enroll in Pre-K

All who submitted the initial interest survey by the Feb. 28, 2025 deadline will have a place in Mill Road Elementary's pre-K program in 2025-26. However, they must complete the registration process by April 4, 2025, to secure their student's seat. Scroll down to read how.

Parents and guardians are invited to attend one of the school's upcoming information sessions at Mill Road's K-2 cafeteria:

  • Wednesday, March 12 at 2 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 13 at 10 a.m.

Principal Dr. Brian Boyd and Assistant Principal Kristen Strothmann will be on hand to meet with families and answer questions. The sessions are expected to last 30-35 minutes.

Once families complete registration, school leadership will send an email confirming their spot in the program. The school will also communicate important summer dates and other information during the month of May.

Though only those who expressed interest in the pre-K program by Feb. 28, 2025 are guaranteed a spot in the program, families can still fill out the interest survey form here to be added to the waiting list for potential inclusion.

How registration works

There are two different links for registration, of which you will only use one:

For families new to the Red Hook Central School District, use this link.

For families with a student already attending a district school, use this link.

Families new to the district:

If your household does not have an existing student attending a district school, visit the link. There, you will be asked to input your household information, including address and contact information. This registers your household with the district's "Parent Portal."

You will receive an email from sender "admin-us@operoo.com" and a subject line "Red Hook Central School District - Operoo Account Created". Operoo is the district's system for uploading digital documents. The email will include a username and password to be used at operoo.com.

Upload necessary student and household documents to Operoo to complete registration.

Hard copies of registration packets are available upon request if you cannot access a computer. Call Carla Merino at 845-758-2241 ext. 45090.

Families with a student already in district:

If your household has a current student attending a district school, visit the link and click on the blue "Register New Student" box on the right and add the student to your existing account.

You will receive an email from Operoo alerting you there are new forms that need to be completed. Use your existing username and password at operoo.com.

Upload necessary student and household documents to Operoo to complete registration.

Hard copies of registration packets are available upon request if you cannot access a computer. Call Carla Merino at 845-758-2241 ext. 45090.
